THE WORK OF THE SOCIAL WORKER IN THE CEBAS PHILANTHROPY PROGRAM COLÉGIO DOM AMAND SANTAREM- PA.

Abstract

The his study sought to analyze the work of the social worker in the CEBAS philanthropy program in a private and philanthropic educational institution in the municipality of Santarém- Pará. In order to reflect on the demands of social work in this particular school environment. Its challenges for the realization of the right to education involve the expression of the confrontation of social problems. To understand how this process takes place, a bibliographic review will be carried out to contextualize education and social transformations and the importance of the role of the social worker in the school context. As a research methodology, qualitative aspects were approached and it is based on historical and dialectical materialism. In order to obtain information about the work, an interview was carried out with the professional from the Social Work sector of the school, and with that the possibility of identifying her profile, how her contribution is made and the main difficulties regarding her work. professional, as well as the methodology used for the scholarship process and the greatest demands in the CEBAS Philanthropy program. Thus, with this experience, we conclude that the social worker is able to contribute in this area, build bonds that ensure the citizenship of the actors involved.
