The study carried out aimed to compare the production efficiency of two grazing systems in the off-season, used in the growing phase of cattle. The systems compared differ by the degree of technology used, one of them uses an irrigated and fertilized rotational grazing method, which is characterized as an intensive method. The second grazing method consists of a continuous extensive system. The analysis of the two systems was performed by comparing indices such as stocking rate, arrobas produced, average daily gain, mineral supplement consumption and reproductive performance. The data obtained were stored and processed in spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel 2019. The two systems showed satisfactory yields in the evaluated period, however the intensive system managed to generate 45.3 @/ha, 4.29 AU/ha and an average daily gain of 345 grams per day more than the extensive system, still providing that the animals had an average consumption of mineral supplement of 358 g/day, while the consumption of the animals of the extensive lot was 491 g/day. Regarding reproductive performance, the intensive method allowed the animals to become pregnant 64 days before the animals from the extensive batch started the reproductive protocol.
