Through basic and continuing education, the teacher acquires knowledge and makes it scientific. It is an ongoing process because this knowledge is social and can change throughout the teacher's career. And for the teacher to know when to change this knowledge, he must look critically and thoughtfully at his professional activity. The main objective of this bibliographic research is to discover the information that a physical education teacher needs to work in early childhood education. In this article, we discuss important information for the practice of the teacher's professional activity, namely: scientific, pedagogical, disciplinary, curriculum, knowledge, teaching/learning and experience. It is important for the teacher to understand that experience alone is not possible, basic, initial and continuing education combined with daily experience is necessary to develop learning.
