Child education demands teaching strategies that understand the global development of children and the diversity that exists between them. The cinema fits as a teaching strategy that uses a technological tool, innovating the dynamics of the development of learning in child education. The general objective of this study is to discuss the teaching strategy using the didactic resource of cinema in child education. This study is characterized as bibliographic research. The development of this study is justified by the importance of seeking the development of innovative teaching strategies and contextualized with the reality of child education’s students. The potential of the cinema activity is materialized in child education through strategies that include playfulness, recreation, imagination and freedom, while keeping in mind the objectives of the teaching-learning process.
