Abstract

Kefir is a viscous and fermented drink that comes from the Caucasus. The beans contain acetic bacteria, lactic acid bacteria and yeast. It has other names such as: Tibetan mushrooms, kefir, plants and yogurt mushrooms. It can be produced from any milk, whether of animal or vegetable origin, from brown sugar. It has antiviral, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-tumor, anti-allergic properties, which help in the prevention and treatment of various diseases and inflammations, of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract and help the body in general.
