Tuberculosis is infectious with a high incidence in prisons, being a public health problem. Where this research aims to analyze the sociodemographic profile and quality of life of the population deprived of liberty with tuberculosis in a prison unit in Pernambuco. Using a quantitative descriptive cross-sectional method through a sociodemographic questionnaire and the WHOQOL-Bref. Finding the majority of detainees with a level of quality of life is neither good nor bad, but with impacts in the four domains. Concluding that tuberculosis is linked to quality of life.
