THE IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY AS A TOOL OF INCLUSION

The present work arose with the general objective of showing the importance and necessity of educational psychology to promote the process of inclusion in education. Its specific objectives seek to present the historical relevance of educational psychology, promoting discussions about pedagogical practices in the field of action for the promotion of inclusion, asking how the educational psychologist works in this field of action, understanding the phenomena that surrounds him and observing the significant changes for the inclusive process to take place. The methodology used in the development of this work were the following: when its approach was exploratory and qualitative, whose means were bibliographic studies through existing articles and publications. The study brings the relevance of the educational process with regard to its functioning and practices, strengthening the need for alignments between professionals who make up this environment, so that we can increasingly contribute to the process of inclusive education.
