The main objective of this study was to discuss childhood sexuality and the importance of teacher training for these discussions in early childhood education. The intention to do so is reasonable in the sense of presenting sexual issues, the influence of the media and, mainly, the context of pedagogical work in early childhood education. In this way, it is believed that continuing education is necessary to cover the challenges posed by the theme to discuss child sexuality in a natural and necessary way.
