The present study aims to point out the difficulties faced by multipurpose teachers working in the initial grades. These difficulties influence their work, since not all their practice follows the child's learning needs in this new phase of education. Through a bibliographic study, in relation to students, these versatile teachers, as well as those who teach classes in Elementary School, face the challenge of working with children who experience a perverse reality daily, without the minimum conditions of a dignified and healthy life. In addition, there is also the absence of the family, the devaluation of their profession, indiscipline, lack of interest, students with different levels of learning or special students, professional devaluation and the non-offer of continuing education.
