The planning function of human resource management involves two main activities: strategic planning and short- and medium-term planning. In the 21st century organization, human resources professionals strategically partner with senior management and are tasked with attracting, developing and retaining individuals through talent management. Productivity is an important goal for any organization. HRM can do many things to improve productivity through people. The most productive organizations have recognized this, and these organizations treat HR better than the less productive organizations. Education and Training of Human Resources can constitute an obvious Competitive Advantage for organizations, insofar as this process is developed precisely adjusting to the needs and interests of the Organization.
