Blockchain is a mathematical algorithm that, through a “system of blocks”, verifies an operation carried out virtually, being registered and replicated on several servers, under the responsibility of validation by consensus of the record with greater security in this storage, allowing inalterability data and, consequently, its integrity and credibility. The decentralization of transactions generates a chain of validation that avoids the practice of fraud in operations, as it needs to reach a wider and more diversified computer network. In the context of Brazilian public management, this type of technology encourages policies that aim to improve the relationship of the public manager with society, aiming to provide greater transparency and participation of people through the presentation of government data and improvements in electronic services. The present work aims to demonstrate the influences of this type of technology in the Brazilian public sector, through bibliographic research.
