PERMANENCE AND SUCCESS PLAN OF THE FEDERAL INSTITUTE OF RORAIMA: ACTIONS CARRIED OUT AT THE IFRR/CAMPUS BOA VISTA ZONA OESTE

This article aims to analyze the perception of teachers and managers of the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Roraima/Campus Boa Vista Zona Oeste (IFRR/CBVZO) on the knowledge of the permanence and success plan of IFRR students and know the actions that were performed in the unit. An electronic questionnaire with open and closed questions was used as a data collection instrument. According to the results, most participants had knowledge about the creation of the institution permanence and success plan, as well as about the actions taken. It was possible to notice that at the IFRR/CBVZO, several actions predicted in the permanence and success plan were developed. However, the recomposition of the local committees becomes extremely important to assist in the execution of actions inherent to overcoming dropout and retention of students from the IFRR/CBVZO and other IFRR units.
