ABSTRACT: This article is part of the master's thesis entitled Science Teaching in a Time of Pandemic: The perception of high school teachers of the Biological Sciences discipline on the campuses of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas produced in the field of the Fundamentals Research Line and Methodologies for the teaching of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the Graduate Program in Science and Humanities Teaching (PPGECH) of the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM), which will aim to analyze pedagogical practices during remote classes of the discipline of biological sciences in the campuses of Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas, its formation, difficulties and apprehensions in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is an excerpt that seeks to show methodological strategies adopted in the research. We based on the authors Volpato 2003, Gatti (2006), Ludke (2013), Gil (2008), Bardin (2009), to support choice in the production of life history in the production of data with biological science teachers from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas. In composing the stories of practices in online classes, we will use the interview and also use online questionnaires that will represent the questionnaire with openly directed questions in order to meet the hypotheses raised in the research. The theoretical-methodological approaches pointed out here are based on the reflections produced in the scope of the Research Seminar I – PPGECH/UFAM discipline. Methodological strategies are linked to post-critical modes of research in education. We can still emphasize the importance of the use of Information and Communication Technology by teachers during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
