GENERALIZED ANXIETY IN CHILDREN AND ITS SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS

Introduction: In GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder), since we were little, we have this “spider sense” that is anxiety made so that we can identify situations that present danger, promoting a series of symptoms., some of them are: bellyache, excessive sweating, a lot of worry and irritability, fear of public speaking. Objective: The objective of this work is to recognize the signs and symptoms of GAD in children from 0 to 12 years old. Materials and Methods: An bibliography review, which addresses the topic “Generalized Anxiety in Children and its Signs and Symptoms”, selecting 15 articles, the Scielo, VHL bases, in Portuguese published between 2017 and 2022. Results: 3 graphs and 2 tables with signs and symptoms, ages and authors who based the results. Conclusion: The bibliography review in this study provides important information about generalized anxiety in childhood and its signs and symptoms.
