BODY EXPRESSION IN CHILD EDUCATION: BODY AND MOVEMENT

Abstract

The importance of movement in early childhood education is well known, as children express themselves and communicate with the world through movement, using their bodies as a tool to interact with them. However, some teachers find it difficult to recognize the relevance of exercise in the daily lives of children aged 0 to 5 years.

In this sense, we chose a question for this book: What is the relationship between education, body and movement in the educational practice of early childhood education institutions?

With this in mind, we aim to analyze the importance of exercise for the development of children aged 0 to 5 years; recognize the importance of teaching work from the child's body; and finally, understand the inclusion of physical expression activities in early childhood education. institutions. As for the methodology, it is a bibliographic study.
