This study aims to present the training mini-course for the development of games for high school students aimed at professionals in basic education. The mini-course is the result of an educational product developed in the Professional Master's Degree in Management, Planning and Teaching at Centro Universitário Vale do Rio Verde. It also presents the perception of some teachers who participated in the mini-course and later implemented the use of educational games in their classes. Our study took place from the exploratory methodology related to educational games within basic education institutions. It presents in its introduction the research problem, its general and specific objectives and the study's justification. In the theoretical framework we see a study on educational games and gamification. After that, the application of the educational product is presented in the methodology in a group of teachers of a basic education institution focused on high school/technical education. Finally, in the results found, the application of a game made from the educational product by two of these teachers who were trained with the material of the educational product is explored.
