Abstract

 Pharmacies and drugstores sell medicines, supplies and health-related products, pharmacists present in these establishments must try to ensure the rational use of medicines and health promotion, performing clinical and administrative services. Services provided by pharmacists in pharmacies in accordance with current legislation, can be: clinical, assisting, managerial and administrative. The pharmacist's primary role is to extend the health care beneficiary profile to the general public, and in this way recognize the pharmacist as a health team of health care providers who can actively participate in disease prevention and health promotion with others. members. Therefore, it is important to maintain a dialogue between the patient and the pharmacist for the correct dispensing of medicines. The recognition of the contribution of this professional's performance to the achievement of better health results confirms the importance of the pharmacist in drugstores.
