Abstract

The main beneficiary of the pharmacist's actions, being the compendium of attitudes, behaviors, commitments, concerns, ethical values, functions, knowledge, responsibilities and skills of the pharmacist in the provision of pharmacotherapy with the objective of obtaining results defined therapeutics in the health and quality of life of the patient. Aims to promote the rational use of medicines and the maintenance of the effectiveness and safety of the treatment, this practice involves macrocomponents such as health education, pharmaceutical guidance, dispensing, pharmaceutical care and correct follow-up of the treatment, in addition to the systematic recording of activities, measurement and evaluation. of the results.
