As a result of the events of 2014, when the Russians took the Crimean peninsula, south of Ukraine, the Minsk Protocol or Agreement was signed. The Minsk Agreement, formulated by Ukraine, Russia and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe - OSCE, was created in June 2014 with a view to facilitating dialogue and resolving land disputes in Eastern and Southern Ukraine. , and also involved representatives of the Separatist People's Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, confederated in the Russian Federation, and consolidated on 09/05/2014. However, the Agreement failed in its objective of ending much of the fighting in Eastern Ukraine, generating its effects in later times, and becoming evident in 2021/2022, between the protagonists, Russia, Ukraine and the International Community, notably with the demonstration of the USA and the European Union. The US claims that the number of Russian troops on the border with Ukraine is at its highest level since 2014, and on 02/13/2021, US President Joe Biden expressed his concern and asked that Russian President Vladimir Putin to reduce tensions in the region. However, on 02/24/2022, Russia invaded Ukraine. The present book aims to analyze Russia's conflict of interest in relation to Ukraine, the USA and the European Union.
