ENTREPRENEURSHIP AS A SUBJECT IN THE CURRICULUM GRADE OF THE NURSING COURSE

Objective: The need to implement the discipline of entrepreneurship in the curriculum of the nursing course. Method: The study is a literature review with a qualitative approach, carried out in a private college of Venda Nova do Imigrante-Espírito Santo, to identify the published studies on the proposed theme, the data were collected through (8) articles using the Google Scholar database, using the following terms: “entrepreneurship” and “nursing”, considering the publications from 2011 onwards. suited to the proposed objectives. A complete reading was carried out, where we carefully sought to find the essential elements to build the theoretical foundation of this bibliographic review and enable discussions on the research results, as well as reflections on future studies. Results: Currently, the teaching of entrepreneurship is not widely addressed in the curriculum of undergraduate nursing in nursing faculties. The importance of inserting the subject of entrepreneurship into the curriculum with theoretical and practical content, with adequate workload, and developing an entrepreneurial and innovative culture among teachers and students is highlighted.
