This work addresses the theme of neuropsychopedagogy and the child with long-term hospitalization. Hospital education is considered extremely important in the context of children's schooling. Through this, it starts from theory to practice within the context of hospitalization, seeking, through structural and methodological conditions, learning in a regular and inclusive way for students who are unable to attend school. These practices acquire relevance from the understanding that, through them, it is possible to establish an inclusive environment with greater effectiveness in the teaching-learning process. However, neuropsychopedagogical intervention permeates the methodological aspects and professional qualification. The objective of this study was a reflection on the theme, seeking to contextualize the hospitalized child, the impacts of hospitalization itself and the intervention of the neuropsychologist professional. In the methodology, aspects of practices, adequate training and the hospital institution as a welcoming and inclusive space for the hospitalized child were prioritized. In addition to these, the understanding of these aspects contributes to the development of children, generating greater efficiency in their learning and development.
