Abstract

This article, through bibliographic review and documentary analysis, aims to discuss the constitutional principles of public administration and the democratic management of public education in the context of the management of the Student Assistance Policy, within the scope of the Technical Course of Integrated Middle Level in Agriculture, IF Baiano, Campus Senhor do Bonfim, in the year 2019, based on the analysis of Resolution no. 01, dated January 29, 2019, which instituted the Student Assistance Policy of IF Baiano. In this research, it was evidenced that the model of participatory school management is adequate for the school environment, as it allows the application of the constitutional principle of democratic management of public education and compliance with the expressed constitutional principles of Public Administration, namely: legality, impersonality, morality, publicity and efficiency. In integrated secondary education, this model aims at the democratization of access, permanence and success in the student, which constitute possible demands to be contemplated through student aid programs, as they contribute to stimulate creativity, critical reflection, activities and the cultural, sporting, artistic, political, scientific and technological exchanges of the students of the Federal Institute of Baiano, with a view to their integral formation. In addition, it was verified the need to deepen the research, through a case study of a qualitative-quantitative approach, in order to identify the factors that need to be overcome to implement the management of the IF Baiano Student Assistance Policy.
