This article unfolds to present the problematization of a Brazilian historical reality, “The sociology of the ideological apparatuses of the state: the role of educational institutions”, based on critical theory, approaching its historical construction and the political processes in which it is carried out insert. The objective is to problematize data on the sociological situation that intertwines the triad, power, state and ideological apparatus. Specifically, we sought to discuss how they manifest themselves in the social context, especially with regard to the treatment of educational institutions as mechanisms of social development and not simply ideological. To achieve the objectives of the study, exploratory, selective, analytical and interpretive readings of books and articles were carried out. Thus, bibliographic research was used, based on studies by renowned authors in the area of public policies and sociology of education. In conclusion, the problematization on the interpretation of the theme, allows to understand that the actions developed by the ideological apparatus in the specific case, allows the triggering of dispositions and a challenge of forming and transforming, consequently, this requires an integrative conception of thinking, feeling and acting in the In the real world context, scientific training is not to be confused with specific ideologies.
