REFLEXÕES SOBRE EDUCAÇÃO E CURRÍCULO

Abstract

The main objective of this article is to reflect on the importance of the Curriculum in Education, in the teaching practice, for the success of the student's teaching and learning process. Therefore, the main characteristics of the curriculum, its concepts, its importance for the life and planning of the teacher will be addressed, as it is the curriculum that allows the teacher a fixed organization of contents and activities in the school context, in addition to reflecting about the theoretical constructions on the subject. The question of this bibliographical investigation was: What is the theoretical context of Curriculum and Education and its Curriculum Theories? The present work is a theoretical study, with a qualitative approach, carried out through literature review and deductive method. And my research motivation was my experience as a special student of the Doctorate in Education, at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPEL), subject of the Advanced Seminar: Studies on Curriculum, taught by Prof. Dr. Mauro Augusto Burkert Del Pino. In the present work, a research and reflection on education and curriculum was carried out, presenting traditional theories, critical educational theories and post-critical theories. In this way, the understanding of curriculum theories is essential, because through this understanding we will realize what values ​​and habits our curricula induce and perpetuate. And only from this reflection will we be able to develop truly inclusive curricula. The results of this study are found throughout this work.
