The use of technologies has been identified as a pedagogical resource that can significantly contribute to inclusive education, due to the potential and versatility inherent to technological methods and devices. This view becomes even more relevant when it comes to the inclusion of students with special needs. Given this perspective, the present study aims to evaluate the updated scientific production, in Portuguese, related to the importance of technologies in inclusive education, especially aimed at children with special needs. It is an integrative literature review, carried out in Scielo's databases, Dialnet. 93 articles were found, of which 10 met the methodological requirements of the study. The results obtained point out that the literature related to the proposed theme considers that these digital and assistive technologies play a crucial role in inclusive education. Through these technologies, students with disabilities have more meaningful learning, as well as independence, autonomy, and develop their skills. In addition, there is a greater permanence of these actors in the school environment.
