This study aimed to describe the importance of an individualized physiotherapy approach in the rehabilitation and quality of life of post-stroke patients. It is an integrative literature review, conducted in six stages, with searches performed in the LILACS, MEDLINE, and BDENF databases through the Virtual Health Library between February and March 2025. Articles published between 2020 and 2026 were included, totaling five studies after applying the eligibility criteria. The results demonstrated that physiotherapy plays a fundamental role in functional recovery, promoting improved mobility, independence in activities of daily living, and quality of life. Interventions such as therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, constraint-induced movement therapy, home rehabilitation, and neuroplasticity-based strategies proved effective, especially when applied individually and early. Furthermore, multidisciplinary action and family involvement were identified as relevant factors in the rehabilitation process. In conclusion, an individualized physiotherapy approach is essential for better clinical outcomes in post-stroke patients, although further studies are needed to strengthen the scientific evidence in this area.
