This research aims to demonstrate the benefits of non-invasive ventilation in sleep apnea in newborns. It is believed that the arrival of a baby is a defining moment in the life of a woman and the family that will receive it and, despite pregnancy being a physiological event, complications can pose a risk to the mother and baby, resulting, among others situations, in a premature birth. All in all, prematurity remains a significant perinatal problem, as associated with sleep apnea is the biggest contributor to infant mortality. Thus, the lack of non-invasive ventilation in sleep apnea can lead to major problems for the newborn or even death. It is concluded with this work that the success in the use of non-invasive ventilation lies in the agility of the therapeutic response in sleep apnea in newborns.
