METODOLOGÍA ACTIVA EN EL CONTEXTO DE LA VIGILANCIA SANITARIA: SIMULACIÓN REALÍSTICA COMO VÍNCULO ENTRE LA LEGISLACIÓN Y LA PRÁCTICA FARMACÉUTICA

Abstract

The aim of this work is to report the experience of using realistic simulation in pharmaceutical care, implemented by preceptors from the Health Surveillance Cell of Fortaleza, as a pedagogical strategy to integrate regulatory knowledge and clinical decision-making. This is a descriptive and qualitative experience report on an intervention carried out between 2021 and 2026, based on the guidelines of the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning. The pedagogical setup used a 'mock pharmacy' at CEVISA, with 20 structured scenarios in three phases: prebriefing (cognitive alignment), clinical scenario (care for standardized patients with prescriptions containing nonconformities), and debriefing (reflective analysis). Data was obtained through field diaries and preceptors’ reports. The analysis highlighted two main points: the shift from theoretical-regulatory knowledge to technical decision-making, with fewer mistakes and greater accuracy in evaluating controlled prescriptions, and the development of communication skills when dealing with conflicts in service. Debriefing became a key part of learning, redefining errors in a safe environment. The strategy narrowed the gap between theory and practice, strengthened the safe application of health regulations, and expanded the regulator's educational role, with high potential for replication.
