Digital media have been transforming the educational process by expanding the possibilities for teaching, learning, assessment, and interaction between teachers and students, thereby fostering pedagogical practices that are more flexible, participatory, and focused on developing learners' competencies. Accordingly, this study aimed to analyze the pedagogical benefits of digital media in education. The research was structured as a bibliographic study with a qualitative approach and an exploratory-descriptive nature; it involved analyzing books and scientific articles published primarily between 2018 and 2025, sourced from Google Scholar, SciELO, and the CAPES Journal Portal, while also incorporating classic works considered fundamental to the theoretical framework. The results confirmed that digital media contribute to personalized learning, strengthen student autonomy and engagement through digital learning paths, facilitate formative assessment via immediate feedback, and enable continuous performance monitoring, thereby supporting more precise, evidence-based pedagogical interventions. It was also found that the benefits of these technologies depend on teacher mediation, pedagogical planning, ongoing teacher training, and adequate technological infrastructure. The conclusion is that digital media are essential tools for enhancing the educational process, fostering more inclusive, dynamic, and meaningful teaching practices, provided their use is guided by pedagogical intent and a commitment to student learning.
