The following article presents six literary production workshops based on the analysis of works from Afro-Brazilian literature authored by women, conducted with a group of residents from the city of Garanhuns-PE. Among the authors read in the meetings are Conceição Evaristo, Carolina Maria de Jesus, and Lelê Alves. Its main goal is to engage participants in a routine of reading and literary production to discuss the experiences of Black women represented in the works. The fundamental studies for the project are based on the concept of "Escrevivência" (Evaristo, 2020), the discussion on Intersectionality (Akotirene, 2019), literary creation workshop proposals (Lamas; Hintz, 2002), and the “Sequência Básica” (Cosson, 2019). This is a qualitative action research study, applied in nature and exploratory in character. The results were satisfactory, demonstrating the effectiveness of the teaching methodologies and sparking participants' interest in Afro-Brazilian literature written by women.
