This study aimed to outline the epidemiological and clinical profile of menopausal women receiving care at two Primary Health Care Units in the municipality of Gurupi, Tocantins, Brazil. This was an observational, quantitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional study conducted with 173 women aged between 40 and 55 years. The research evaluated the main menopause-related symptoms, the participants' perceptions of these manifestations, and the impact of this condition on their personal relationships and quality of life. In addition, the study analyzed the use of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), the adoption of natural alternatives for symptom management, and the women's satisfaction with the treatments used. The results revealed a high prevalence of menopausal symptoms, particularly hot flashes, sweating, joint discomfort, anxiety, sleep disturbances, and vaginal dryness. Low adherence to hormone replacement therapy was observed, although most women undergoing treatment reported satisfaction with its outcomes. It was concluded that menopause has repercussions that extend beyond physiological changes, influencing emotional, social, and functional aspects of women's lives, highlighting the importance of strengthening comprehensive women's health care within Primary Health Care services.
