Introduction: Tuberculosis remains one of the major public health problems worldwide, requiring effective strategies for prevention, early diagnosis, and therapeutic follow-up, especially within Primary Health Care. In this context, nurses play an essential role in patient care, contributing to treatment adherence and disease control within the community. Objective: To analyze nursing care provided to patients with tuberculosis in Primary Health Care, highlighting the actions developed by nurses in disease management and follow-up. Methodology: This is a descriptive bibliographic review with a qualitative approach, conducted through the analysis of scientific publications addressing nursing care for patients with tuberculosis. Results and Discussion: The studies showed that nurses are involved from the identification of respiratory symptomatic individuals to the monitoring of clinical progress and treatment adherence. Strategies such as Directly Observed Treatment, health education, strengthening of the professional-patient bond, continuous follow-up, and encouragement of self-care were highlighted. Challenges related to social vulnerabilities, structural limitations of health services, and the need for professional training were also identified. Conclusion: Nurses play an important role in the care of individuals with tuberculosis, contributing to early detection, treatment adherence, and strengthening disease control actions. Investments in professional qualification and service improvement are essential to enhance the effectiveness of care.
