The participation of the nursing team in hemodialysis services is fundamental to ensuring the quality and safety of care provided to patients. These professionals work comprehensively, considering the biopsychosocial needs of individuals, and play a relevant role in both the diagnostic process and therapeutic follow-up. The general objective of this study was to analyze resource management and its impacts on the quality of care offered to patients with renal failure. Specific objectives included identifying effective management practices that promote service efficiency and safety of care, as well as proposing recommendations for improving management and care provided. The methodology adopted consisted of a descriptive literature review with a qualitative approach, using Google Scholar as a research source. The results and discussion identified two main categories: the quality of care for patients with renal failure and the challenges and strategies related to health management in this context. It is concluded that the integration of efficient management and multidisciplinary action significantly contributes to positive results in different dimensions of renal patient care. In this context, adequate planning of human and material resources is fundamental to ensuring continuity of treatment and reducing healthcare risks, strengthening the quality and safety of the care provided.
