Objective: to develop an educational booklet based on scientific evidence on the role of nurses in palliative care for oncology patients. Method: this is a methodological study with a descriptive approach, based on a theoretical literature review conducted in the SciELO, LILACS, BDENF, MEDLINE, Google Scholar, and CINAHL databases. Studies published between 2020 and 2025, in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, related to nursing performance in oncological palliative care were included. After the selection and analysis of the evidence, the theoretical content of the booklet was developed. The design and layout of the educational material were created using the Canva platform, allowing for a didactic visual organization of the content. Results: the educational booklet was structured using clear and accessible language, addressing aspects related to the principles of palliative care, the role of nurses, symptom management, communication with patients and families, and the promotion of humanized care. The material was aimed at nursing professionals involved in the care of oncology patients receiving palliative care. Conclusion: the educational booklet constitutes a potential resource to support clinical practice and strengthen the humanized care provided by nurses in the context of oncological palliative care.
