This study aims to evaluate the incidence of work-related mental disorders, analyzing cases registered in Brazil between the years 2013 and 2023. Furthermore, its purpose is also to compare subgroups, considering variables such as age range, occupation, case evolution, and specific diagnoses, in order to understand the complexity of mental disorders and identify patterns that may influence their prognosis. As this is a descriptive and quantitative research study, the data was obtained from the DATASUS platform, using research filters such as age group, education level, occupation, case outcomes, and specific diagnoses. During the period analyzed, from 2013 to 2023, there was a significant increase in the total number of reported cases of work-related mental disorders, with a rise of over 432%. Regarding the age of the affected individuals, there is a clear predominance in the 30 to 49 age range, that is, among adults. In terms of education, a higher number of diagnoses was observed in individuals with a completed high school or higher education degree. The analysis of these individuals' occupations reveals the predominance of healthcare professionals, especially nursing technicians, who occupy prominent positions in the ranking. Furthermore, other healthcare professionals, such as community health workers and nurses, are also present among the top ten. There is also a noticeable presence of lower-paying jobs, such as urban bus drivers, cleaners, and cashiers. The vast majority of these cases result in temporary incapacity, with the most common diagnoses being anxiety disorders and depression, stress-related disorders, and somatoform disorders, followed by mood (affective) disorders, like bipolarity. The aim of this project is to confirm the continuous rise in cases of work-related mental disorders, as well as the increase in diagnoses over the years. Therefore, it is necessary to manage these disorders, which symptoms contribute to the reduce in the quality of life of workers.
