Abstract

Introduction: Low back pain is a type of low back pain, caused by an injury to a muscle or ligament, where the most common causes are: standing up improperly, poor posture, lack of regular physical activity, fractures, ruptured disc or even Arthritis , classified into three main categories which are: Low back pain of potentially radicle origin; Low back pain potentially associated with specific spinal disease and Nonspecific low back pain. The Benefits of Hydrotherapy in Reducing Pain and Improving Physical Function in Individuals with Low Back Pain: A Literature Review”, where his area of ​​concentration is arranged in Aquatic Physiotherapy – Therapeutics and Rehabilitation. General Objective: Highlight the greatest benefits of hydrotherapy for patients with low back pain. Methodology: The methodological procedure in this work is arranged in a Literature Review format, based on an exploratory-bibliographic dialogue, of a qualitative nature, with the authors of in-depth research, which address the respective topic in question. Expected Results: Hydrotherapy comprises a range of intervention techniques, including differentiated water activities, reducing the painful effects that low back pain causes in individuals who complain of its symptoms, including severe pain in the lower region of the spine, which is approximately at waist height. Conclusion: At the end of this study, it can be concluded that Hydrotherapy is efficient and beneficial, not only in minimizing the pain caused by low back pain, but also improving the patient's quality of life, in view of offering it. significant physical, emotional and psychological well-being, and their ability to perform their daily tasks.
