This article analyzes Environmental Education as a fundamental development of Environmental Law, understood as a third-generation right and a pillar of human dignity. Through a bibliographic review of major international conferences (Stockholm, Belgrade, Tbilisi, and Rio-92) and an analysis of the 1988 Brazilian Federal Constitution, the study investigates the role of environmental policing beyond its repressive sphere. As a practical object of analysis, it examines the Vitória Régia Environmental Education Program, developed by the Amazonas Military Police Environmental Battalion (BPAmb/PMAM). The results indicate that the military police officer's role as an educational agent is an effective preventive strategy, capable of mitigating environmental damage in the Amazon by fostering critical and participatory ecological awareness in children and youth.
