Abstract

This article analyzes the Ação Encantada Project, a social initiative developed by Administration students from Centro Universitário Paraíso (UniFAP), in Juazeiro do Norte — CE, aimed at serving children in situations of social vulnerability sheltered by Instituto Arte e Vida. Structured according to the PM Canvas methodology, the project mobilized multifunctional teams over nine weeks, resulting in the collection of 112 items including toys, clothes and footwear, in addition to recreational, cultural and integration activities with the target audience. Based on a theoretical review articulated with the foundations of public management, social responsibility, institutional transparency and accountability, the study seeks to demonstrate how social extension projects led by academia can constitute concrete spaces for the exercise of active citizenship, social control and the ethical formation of the contemporary manager. The methodology adopted combines document analysis of the project's final report with a bibliographic review, drawing on authors such as Chiavenato, Drucker, Kotler, Maximiano, Di Pietro and relevant Brazilian legislation, especially the Federal Constitution of 1988, the Access to Information Law (Law 12.527/2011) and the General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018). The results show that the practical experience lived by the students strengthens socioemotional and organizational competencies, while bringing the academic environment closer to real social demands, contributing to the formation of managers committed to ethical, human and collective values.
