Oral rehabilitation of patients with cleft lip and palate represents a clinical challenge due to anatomical alterations and bone deficiency in the cleft region. This study aims to report a clinical case of implant-supported rehabilitation in the region of tooth 12, associated with a literature review. A 32-year-old female patient, with a history of previously treated unilateral cleft lip and palate, presented with absence of the upper lateral incisor in the cleft area, in addition to local bone compromise. The planning was carried out through clinical and radiographic evaluation, allowing the placement of a dental implant with adequate primary stability. Postoperative analysis, including periapical radiography, showed satisfactory implant positioning and absence of immediate complications. The literature demonstrates that, despite anatomical limitations, implant-supported rehabilitation in these patients presents predictable success rates when based on careful planning. In the case presented, functional and aesthetic restoration was observed, with adequate integration into the dental arch. It is concluded that implant dentistry is an effective and safe alternative in the rehabilitation of patients with cleft lip and palate, contributing significantly to improving their quality of life.
