Abstract

The study of electricity in the human body, marked in the early 18th century and brought several advances in the field of medicine and one of the applications of this study is the FES (Functional electrical stimulation), which is the use of a low frequency alternating current through electrodes on the patient's skin, which causes muscle contractions is used by both physiotherapy and aesthetic professionals.
