Most of the time, food provision does not derive from a spontaneous offer or agreement signed between the feeder and the feeder. Therefore, it is necessary to comply with the maintenance duty, which in the Brazilian legal system occurs through a court sentence or decision (judicial enforcement title), and the execution of maintenance based on an extrajudicial enforcement title. In these terms, this research aims to expose how the maintenance duty is carried out, given the debtor's inertia, taking into account the changes and innovations introduced by Law 13,105/2015, Code of Civil Procedure. The general objective of this research is to explain how compliance with food payments is processed in the CPC/2015. The method used in the work was qualitative, given that it was a bibliographic analysis.
