THE PERFORMANCE OF THE NURSES IN YOUTH SEXUAL EDUCATION

The article aims to address issues about sexuality, its origins in childhood, how it develops in adolescence, the massive influence of religious issues, as discussed in family and social life, how pornography acts in the negative influence of young people, how it harms adolescence and the role of nursing in guiding parents and adolescents. It aims to understand the role of nurses in relation to sexual education for young people, how the internet and easy access to sexual content are disseminated and how nurses can contribute to the guidance of parents, educators and young people. This is an integrative literature review study, qualitative and exploratory in nature, with a theoretical approach. The research brings as results information regarding the role of nursing in the sexual education of young people, the aggravation of addiction by constantly using the cell phone to use pornographic content and that are related to poor positioning and guidance of parents and guardians, in addition to promoting the nurse's autonomy to deal with the interpersonal connection of the family with the young person, he or she can help with sexual orientation and education, avoiding sexually transmitted infections, a possible unplanned pregnancy and the pornographic culture.
