Abstract

This study addresses artificial intelligence in the teaching-learning process in public educational institutions, focusing on innovative pedagogical practices and the ethical use of technology. The objective is to understand how artificial intelligence can enhance teacher training, personalize learning, and develop digital competencies in students. The methodology adopted is characterized as bibliographic, qualitative, exploratory, and applied research, based on works by authors such as Curtolo, Duque et al., Evangelista, Ferreira et al., Gil, Infante-Malachias et al., Mathias and Schuhmacher, Pscheidt, Ricieri and Barreto, and Vicari et al. The expected results include the identification of effective strategies for the responsible integration of artificial intelligence in education, overcoming barriers such as limited infrastructure and resistance to innovation. It is concluded that the conscious and planned use of these technologies can promote significant improvements in academic performance, support decision-making, and foster more dynamic and personalized learning environments, contributing to quality and equity in public education.
