This article presents the results of qualitative-participatory research conducted in the district of San José de Tostós, Venezuela, with the aim of identifying and analyzing educational strategies for participatory actions between the school and the community. The participatory action research methodology was applied to identify local demands and potentialities. The practices identified strengthened the bond between school and community, fostered socio-environmental engagement, and promoted the development of skills for the conscious use of natural resources. At the same time, they revealed challenges related to institutional sustainability, resource scarcity, and the need for integrated public policies. It is concluded that these strategies have a high potential for replication in other contexts, offering both practical and theoretical contributions to the field of Environmental Education.
