Abstract

Digital media are fundamental for the new generation, which interacts daily with social networks, videos, and applications. This connection shapes their communication, learning, and entertainment, fostering creativity and personal expression. Digital content and platforms utilize technology to disseminate information in various formats, accessible via the internet and mobile devices. They promote rapid and interactive interactions. The transformation of education through digital media occurs via tools that enrich the teaching-learning process and offer flexible access to diverse content, catering to different learning styles. Inclusion in education seeks to ensure equitable access for all students, creating welcoming and adaptable environments. Digital media play a crucial role by providing customizable resources for students with disabilities and promoting social interactions. The general objective of this research is to investigate the role of digital media in education, emphasizing their characteristics, benefits, and challenges, especially regarding the inclusion of students with disabilities, and to propose guidelines for their effective and responsible use in teaching and learning. This research on digital media in education is relevant as it explores how these tools transform teaching, particularly for the inclusion of students with disabilities. This study is bibliographical, based on the analysis of works on digital media in education. Digital media transform education by facilitating access to information and promoting inclusion. This research aims to understand these impacts and create guidelines for the responsible use of these tools in teaching.
