Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) has gained growing scientific and educational attention in recent decades. Although research has advanced considerably, its etiology remains complex and multifactorial, involving genetic, neurobiological, and environmental factors. The apparent increase in prevalence is largely attributed to broader diagnostic criteria, improved screening practices, and greater public awareness, though potential biological influences cannot be excluded. Early identification is essential for supporting development and inclusion, with screening tools such as the M-CHAT-R™ playing an important role during critical developmental stages. Beyond clinical considerations, schools are central to promoting inclusion. They are spaces where challenges become visible but also where meaningful interventions can occur. Drawing on philosophical reflection and evidence-based practices, this article outlines effective strategies, including calm and supportive teacher attitudes, structured learning environments, peer-mediated interventions, and clear communication techniques. The goal is not to eliminate autism, but to reduce avoidable suffering, foster autonomy, and create inclusive school environments where diversity is recognized as a source of collective growth and educational enrichment.
