This study aims to analyze the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Military Police of Amazonas (PMAM), focusing on the operational, economic, and strategic gains provided by the incorporation of intelligent technologies into police activity. The research addresses facial recognition systems, intelligent monitoring, operational intelligence applications, and Big Data analysis, seeking to understand how these tools contribute to optimizing actions, reducing response time to incidents, strengthening integration between units, and supporting the corporation's strategic planning. The investigation starts from the specific context of Amazonas, a state with a large territorial extension, dense urban areas, and remote regions with difficult access, where the challenges of patrolling and public security are intensified. The analysis considers both the concrete benefits, such as greater operational efficiency, expanded coverage, and cost reduction, and the challenges faced, including limited connectivity, the need for continuous training of personnel, updating of databases, and ethical and legal issues related to privacy and data protection. The expected results indicate that the planned and integrated implementation of AI enhances police performance, making operations more assertive, safe, and evidence-driven, as well as enabling more informed and efficient strategic decisions. Simultaneously, the study highlights the need for public policies, adequate training, and technological infrastructure for the benefits to be fully realized. This work contributes to the understanding of digital transformation in public security, providing support for improving the use of technology in the PMAM (Military Police of Amazonas) and other police forces, reinforcing the modernization and effectiveness of security actions in the state.
