Abstract

The presence of artificial intelligence in education has brought about important changes in teaching and learning processes, making it an increasingly relevant topic in the context of contemporary technological transformations. In this scenario, schools and education professionals are faced with new pedagogical possibilities, but also with challenges that require critical and sensitive reflection on the use of these technologies in everyday educational practice. In light of this, the general objective of this study was to analyze the impacts of artificial intelligence on teaching and learning processes, considering its contributions, challenges, and implications for pedagogical practice in the educational context. The choice of this theme is justified by the need to expand discussions on the integration of artificial intelligence in education, especially due to its growing influence on teaching practice, the personalization of instruction, and the construction of learning. Methodologically, the research was developed through a literature review, based on scientific publications related to artificial intelligence and its application in the field of education. The analysis of the studies made it possible to conclude that artificial intelligence has the potential to contribute to more dynamic, inclusive, and personalized pedagogical practices, but it also imposes ethical, pedagogical, and educational challenges that must be addressed with responsibility, critical awareness, and commitment to human development.
