INTEGRATED REVIEW OF SOFT-HARD TECHNOLOGIES IN THE CLINICAL MEDICAL PRACTICE OF HYPERTENSION AND DIABETES IN PRIMARY CARE

Chronic diseases represented by Systemic Arterial Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus are major challenges for the public health system, but to maintain or at least improve the quality and efficiency of care provided, innovative solutions are necessary. In this context, soft-hard technologies emerge as strategies that can enhance medical practice and support clinical treatment. To investigate the implications of these technologies in practice and technological innovation in the treatment of chronic diseases. To identify the studies included in this study, an integrative review was conducted in the Virtual Health Library, PubMed, Cochrane Library, and SciELO databases from 2020 to 2025, using standardized descriptors and Boolean operators to select twelve studies. Progress was demonstrated in reducing blood pressure and regulating blood glucose levels, in order to improve safety, efficiency, and quality of life, despite structural factors and the lack of specialized training. Soft-hard technologies play a fundamental role in improving healthcare processes and strengthening the care of chronic diseases.
