This article analyzes the convergence between technological innovation and integrated governance in the actions of the Military Police of Amazonas (PMAM) within the SISNAMA for the protection of the Amazon border. The general objective is to examine how the use of new technologies, such as drones, can overcome logistical limitations and strengthen environmental preservation. The methodology is characterized as descriptive and exploratory, with a qualitative approach based on bibliographic and documentary research. The results indicate that the use of remotely piloted aircraft increases situational awareness, reduces operational risks, and expands the reach of policing in rivers and borders. It is concluded that the strengthening of environmental governance is directly proportional to the capacity for technological interoperability among SISNAMA bodies. Institutional integration, combined with investment in technology, presents itself as the most viable way to increase the effectiveness of forest protection strategies and ensure national sovereignty in the region.
